Honest leak repair, Citrus County wide.
The drip in your ceiling is almost never below the hole in your roof. Finding the real entry point is the whole job, and it is what we are known for. We start in the attic whenever we can get up there, because that is where water leaves its trail.
Leak Repair · Citrus County
Water travels. The stain is where it ended up, not where it got in.
Leaks on the Gulf side of Citrus County have a habit of starting at metal. Near Crystal River and Homosassa the salt in the air eats at flashing, vent collars and exposed nail heads, so a roof whose shingles still look decent can be letting water in around every penetration. Out that way, those are the first places we put our hands.
If the leak shows up mid-storm, we can get a heavy-duty tarp over the breach fast, then come back for the permanent fix once the weather clears. Either way you get photos of what we found and a written number before the repair starts.
Rain that gets past your roof runs along rafters, decking and insulation before it ever shows on the drywall, sometimes ten or fifteen feet from the entry point. Sealing the spot above the stain feels productive and fixes nothing. That is why the same leak keeps coming back after two or three cheap patch jobs.
Leak Repair across Citrus County
On Citrus County roofs, this is the menu.
After twenty-plus years on Central Florida roofs, the same handful of failure points cause most of the leaks we trace.
- Wind-lifted shingles. One storm lifts the seal, the next one drives rain underneath.
- Nail pops. Backed-out nails leave a hole exactly the size of the leak nobody can find.
- Clogged valleys and gutters. Water that cannot drain finds its way under the shingle line.
- Skylight and vent seals. Factory seals age out years before the roof around them does.
- Flat-section transitions. Where a low-slope porch meets the main roof, shortcuts leak.
- Flashing failures. The metal around chimneys, walls and valleys pulls loose or loses its seal.
- Cracked pipe boots. Florida sun cooks the rubber around plumbing vents until it splits.

The Citrus County side of the job.
Every leak we take in this county gets traced on the roof and in the attic before anyone talks price. Coastal humidity and the salt-heavy air on the Gulf side wear down flashing and fasteners on top of whatever the storm season does, so we photograph the path the water took and quote the repair that path calls for, sized to your house and nobody else’s.
The age of the house shapes the fix as well. Citrus Hills and Beverly Hills carry a large retiree population, homes near the coast live with salt every day, and plenty of roofs across the county went on in the 1980s and 1990s and are close to the end of their first life. On a young roof a leak is usually one bad detail. On one of those older roofs it can be the first of several, and we tell you which kind you have, with the photos to show it.
When a leak fix grows into a re-roof, the permit goes through the Citrus County Building Division and we arrange the inspection ourselves. That new roof carries the same 10-year labor warranty our Bushnell customers get.

The Tippy Top standard
How every Citrus County project runs, no exceptions.
A single cracked pipe boot gets held to the same standards as a whole new roof. Customers have rated us 4.9 stars on Google. The list below is what they were rating.
- Insured crews only. Anyone tracing a leak on your roof or crawling through your attic works under our liability and workers’ comp coverage, for a company that holds a Florida roofing license.
- A warranty with our name on it. If a leak hunt ends in a new roof, that roof gets our 10-year workmanship warranty on paper, and years from now the number printed on it still reaches us.
- Inspected, then closed out. Any leak job large enough to need a permit is not finished until a county inspector signs it, and that closed permit is the record a future buyer or your insurer will want.
- No surprise add-ons. The repair quote names the source we found, what we are replacing and the price, so laying it next to another roofer’s takes a minute.
- Seen on the job. The owner is not too big to be seen. He checks in on every project, and a single lead keeps your job moving through to the final walkthrough.
- No mess left overnight. Leak work tends to be a short visit, and the old flashing, empty sealant tubes and loose nails still leave with us. A magnet passes over the ground before the truck pulls out.

Where we run this work.
Leak calls come to us from Beverly Hills and Citrus Hills, from Inverness and Lecanto, and from salt-air homes in Crystal River and Homosassa. Town not listed? Call and ask, because most of the time we can come.
Citrus County asks us these about leak repair.
Can you get to a Citrus County leak before the next rain?
Usually. Inverness is about thirty-five minutes from our Bushnell shop by truck, with Crystal River and Homosassa a bit past that. If water is actively coming in, we can often be on the roof the same day, and a written number for the repair reaches you shortly afterward.
Is my part of Citrus County too far for a leak check?
Probably not. Our crews trace leaks in Beverly Hills, Homosassa, Citrus Hills, Crystal River, Lecanto and Inverness, plus the rural homes along the roads between them. Unsure about your address? Ask the owner when you call, and he will give you a clear yes or no before you hang up.
Can you find a leak that other roofers could not?
That is one of the most common calls we take. Tracing water takes time on the roof and in the attic, and crews that quote by volume skip it. We check the attic side whenever it is accessible, follow the staining uphill, and do not stop at the first suspicious spot.
Will insurance pay for my leak repair?
If the leak came from a specific storm event, often yes. If it came from age and wear, usually no. We document what we find with photos either way, so if there is a claim to make, you have what the adjuster needs.
How much does leak repair cost?
Most leak repairs are modest jobs once the source is found. The price depends on how far the water traveled and whether decking needs replacement. You get a written number after the free roof check, before any work begins.
Water is dripping in right now. What should I do?
Put a bucket under it, move anything valuable, and if the ceiling is bulging, poke a small hole to relieve the water so the drywall does not come down all at once. Then call us at (352) 457-4472. We can usually get a tarp up the same day.
