Clean gutters, checked by roofers while we’re up there.
Cleared, flushed and inspected by people who actually understand what clogged gutters do to the roof above them.
Gutters are roof protection. Treat them that way and both last longer.
A clogged gutter is not a cosmetic issue. When water cannot drain, it backs up under the shingle line, soaks the fascia boards, and dumps next to your foundation instead of away from it. Some of the leak repairs we do every year started life as a gutter full of oak leaves.
Our gutter cleaning is a roofer’s cleaning. We clear every run and downspout by hand, flush the system to confirm real flow, and while we are up there we check what a gutter company never looks at: hangers pulling loose, seams starting to weep, drip edge doing its job, and the first course of shingles above the gutter line.
You get before-and-after photos and a note about anything we spotted. If everything is healthy, that is what the note says. If something is starting, you hear about it while it is still a small fix.
With every clean
What a roofer’s gutter service includes.
More than scooping leaves. The point is protecting the roof and the house edge.
- Full hand clearing. Every gutter run cleared of leaves, needles and roof grit.
- Downspout flushing. Flow confirmed at every outlet, clogs cleared, splash checked.
- Hanger and pitch check. Sagging runs and loose hangers flagged before they tear away.
- Seam and end-cap check. Weeping joints spotted and noted before fascia damage starts.
- Roof-edge look-over. Drip edge and first shingle courses checked while we are up there.
- Photo report. Before-and-after shots plus anything worth keeping an eye on.

How often, honestly?
For most Bushnell homes, twice a year, spring and fall, keeps gutters doing their job. Homes under oaks and pines need more attention, sometimes quarterly, because Florida trees do not follow a polite northern leaf schedule. Homes with no tree cover can often stretch to once a year.
The other trigger is weather. After a major storm, gutters catch everything the wind threw at your roof, and a system that was fine in May can be packed solid in June. A quick clean after storm season protects the fascia through the winter rains.
We are happy to put you on a recurring schedule so it is never something you think about, and because we are already your roofer, the visit doubles as a standing early-warning check on the roof itself.

Gutter Cleaning questions, answered straight.
How much does gutter cleaning cost?
It depends on the home’s size, height and how packed the gutters are, and we quote it in writing before we start. Recurring-schedule customers get the better rate because planned visits are easier on everyone.
How often should gutters be cleaned in Florida?
Twice a year is the honest baseline, spring and fall. Heavy tree cover pushes that toward quarterly, and any major storm is a good reason for an extra look. We will recommend a schedule based on what your trees actually drop.
Can clogged gutters really damage my roof?
Yes, and we repair the proof every year. Backed-up water works under the shingle line at the eave, rots fascia boards, and overflows against the foundation. A ten-minute clog can become a four-figure repair over one wet season.
Do you repair gutters too, or just clean them?
We handle the roof-adjacent fixes: rehanging loose runs, sealing weeping seams, and correcting pitch problems we find during a clean. For full gutter replacement we will tell you plainly what you need so nobody sells you more than that.
Do I need to be home for the service?
No. As long as we can reach the gutters safely, we can clean, photograph and send you the report and any notes. Plenty of customers first hear from us that day via the photos.
When did your gutters last get real attention?
